Daniel Joseph Curley


Daniel Joseph Curley was an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as Bishop of Syracuse from 1923 until his death in 1932.

Daniel Curley was born in New York City to Michael and Margaret Curley. He studied at St. Francis Xavier College and afterwards St. Josephs Seminary in Troy, where he befriended Patrick Joseph Hayes . He furthered his studies at the Pontifical North American College in Rome, and was there ordained to the priesthood on May 19, 1894.
